Oh yes, it's the Wonder Girls. Forgive me for blogging so much about K-Pop recently but this second album by them is definitely worth bragging about. No, this is not changing into a review blog by the way. People thought I would talk about Girls' Generation's new album because I did it for Secret but it wasn't really worth the time for The Boys. I only liked two tracks on the album and I wasn't disappointed because I wasn't expecting much in the first place thanks to my previous experience with their albums. Their first album Oh! wasn't anywhere near exceptional and the lyrics were just average.

What I love about other companies out there for K-Pop besides SM Entertainment is that majority of the time they don't just put random songs in an album to fill up spaces. Most notable JYP Entertainment (exclude 2PM) and YG Entertainment. Most of the time SM are just darn disappointing because they put songs that are not even half worthy just to complete an album or chuck in two new songs for a repackage for more money. In the end it still works and that's all it matters, they still have their market. Ones that adore proper idols - ones that don't exactly produce music themselves but look the part.

For me, the best album from the Korean music scene this year is Tablo's album Fever's End. If you've been following my blog ever since three years ago you would know that I am a huge fan of Epik High, the group that Tablo belongs in. Tablo - being the brains behind Epik High's lyrics obviously no doubt is my favourite from the group. From the success Epik High has managed to reach you would expect nothing less from Tablo. That's another story though, today it's all about Wonder Girls.

01 - G.N.O (Girls Night Out): When I found out it was composed and written by member Yeeun I was a bit hesitant to hear it since most idol group members can't make music for their life. So this one definitely came out as a nice surprise. It's the very usual pop style, and not exactly your typical K-Pop song but that's what Wonder Girls has successfully developed into due to their advancement to America.

02 - Be My Baby (and Ra.D Remix) : As the title song, I am satisifed. It's your typical JYP produced track style and ones that takes time to grow on you but it's a safe choice to be massively promoted.

03 - Girls Girl: It's a fun and upbeat track. The lyrics are meaningful (by member rapper Yubin) so make sure you read it.

04 - Me, in: Remake of an old classic so obviously it wouldn't disappoint. It's different from your usual retro style Wonder Girl songs and it's definitely a nice change. In fact the style actually suits them pretty well and I reckon they should stick to it.

05 - Sweet Dreams: An average track that deserves to be listened to but it probably won't stick to you however it's worth the time definitely.

06 - Stop!: The best track on the whole album considered by the majority and I agree - kind of. It's just hard to choose a favourite on this album! Every single song is just so nice. It's not one of the songs you would expect to be a title track and on the K-Pop scene and refreshing for sure.

07 - Dear. Boy 08 - Do Go Do Go 09 - SuperB: Just.listen.to.it. Trust me, you won't regret to it. These three don't stand out as much but are fabulously done compared to the other songs out there in the K-Pop scene today. Sohee's voice is still heavily autotuned but nothing can be perfect so it's just something fans have to get used to and it doesn't even sound that bad.

09 - Act Cool (featuring San.E): Huge props to Lim for rapping and writing those lyrics with San.E. Obviously her flow isn't as good as Yubin but this tack proves she's got the potential.

11 - Nu Shoes: A song about new shoes, interesting isn't it. The beats are nice and the story behind is even better. A nice way to end the album off.

No doubt one of the best albums by idols this year. Thank you for advancing into the American market, it probably wasn't as successful as they would like it to be but it changed their music style completely and they're now better than ever. So go listen to it now.

Year 8 is finally over. It has been a fun and relaxing year so thank you. Camp was boring, no offence. How interesting can it get when it's named SRC & Social Justice Camp with a little over 30 people together? At least we had a whole building (with air conditioning) to ourselves. We planned what will happen next year in school and I can tell you we will have some really interesting stuff happening soon!

Yours truly is in charge of publicity and organizing the Talent Show in Term 2. Exciting! Hopefully I will manage everything and be in balance. By the way my yearly report is nothing like I expected - in a bad way.

Moving on! First day of the 30 K-Pop Letter Day Challenge.

Day 1: Your favorite k-pop guy group
Big Bang - definitely. Although you guys are not actually the ones to get me into the whole K-Pop thing (DBSK did with their debut cutness) but your the ones that managed to keep me stay in it. I don't care what the haters say about you guys. How you guys don't have the looks and all. So what? At least you guys are not plastic not the majority of boy groups out there.

The fact all of you guys don't have the whole flower boy image makes me think you guys are way better looking. Imperfection is perfection.

What makes me like you guys the most is how the five of you always try to stay in a group despite solo activities. I love seeing you guys as a group the most but sure, each and one of you have solo things here and there but at the end of the day you guys are still Big Bang as a whole.

Big Bang's music is ear-gasm. Every single one of the tracks. Need I say more?

So yesterday was pretty epic, with 2NE1 officially coming back with their first full length album, To Anyone. I've been their fan black jack since their unofficial debut with Big Bang's Lollipop CF. At that time YG promoted them as the female version of Big Bang. I was not impressed because I loved Big Bang since their debut and they're amazing. I thought who could honestly be as good to be a female version of them? When I gave the song Lollipop a chance I knew straight away that 2NE1 is going to be my favourite girls group. The song went up to No.1 positions on charts within hours of release with no promotions what so ever. Talent speaks for themselves.

Their mini album, I Don't Care was amazing. This four member group just has everything. CL has the rap, attitude and fashion covered, Park Bom definitely got the voice / main vocal thing nailed down, Sandara is the face of 2NE1, she may be 20-something but looks way younger and better than those stupid 15 year olds debuting right now, Minzy? What else can I say? What do I need to say? This girl can dance! And I mean seriously dance. She may be 16 but she dances better than the so called "Dancing Queen" person from Girl's Generation whos name I won't even make an effort to remember.
To Anyone will be a firing success. Big Bang's come back next month will complete my year. Moving on! It is Day 03 — Your Parents.

To my mum: like all families, we always have fights and scream our heads off at each other but after four or five days we get over it. I am going to be honest, your personality and way of doing things sucks. The past 14 years though, I got used to them and I'll always just some how deal with it.

To my dad: Amazing person, photography & photoshop expert. Introduced me the two things. Always understands me and hardly throw any grudges (but when he does it's even scariers than The Grudge. I swear). 'Nuff said.

To my brother: Your one year old. I seriously can not stand you. You are so annoying, you do the most childish things, you cry at the most stupid things. You laugh like a hyena like there's no tomorrow and you sneeze like someone is farting. Oh and when random people on the street farts you are able to copy them and point at them and laugh at them (seriously), I think it is very embarassing sometimes. But I guess this is what makes me love you more than anything else in the world.

So many assessments, so many assignments all due in two weeks on the same two days! Can you feel the stress? My skin is freaking out mad pimples... No, I'm joking, that's disgusting. But my skin is heading to the bad section. The only subject I might enjoy studying for is art and it just reminds me that I won't be doing photography as a major subject next year. My heart is breaking.

I was watching sm town concert live at la. I got bored to death after two hours so I stopped watching. Jessica and Krystal Jung bores me with their wanna be sexy moves and singing Tik Tok was just ROFLMAO material.

My current layout is kind of pissing me off a little bit. I think I like my old origional layout better. Should I switch?

Jong Hyun made my day by the way. Early today my friends at training showed me some pre-debut photos of him in a dress and pashing madly with some random guys. LOL another reason why he tops my bias list.

When I watched Mean Girls for the first time, I had a feeling Lindsay Lohan was destined for great things. I loved everything about her. So when news of her entering jail for 90 days broke out this morning I was like "It's finally here... about time." As much as I love her, it's time for her to start all over again. It's been forever since she's been in a proper movie, hopefully she will be in a proper budget movie soon. I miss her D:

Move over, Tae Yang only promoted the song THREE TIMES. Last week's performance was his last. And if his new album is not doing great why would all the deluxe version of the album (30,000 copies was it?) are sold out already? Pre orders reached 50, 000. ATM fans are still demanding more copies.

+ It's not like YG Entertainment really cared about doing well on charts anyways. They just like to do proper music, tyvm, unlike SM.

Stop expecting so much from him. Let see you make an album and have 30, 000 people buy it.

Tae Yang's album, SOLAR, is finally here! Unfortunately my copy isn't here yet... but that's OK! I can't wait when it gets onto my iPod. Oh my god, the repeats. By the way did you guys know most South Korean idols group easily sell more albums than the American solo artists? Thing is, most Asians like to illegally download music off the net, therefore making the profit and number sales increasingly down. Support the people you like by buying their music.
