They say love comes at the most unexpected times. The irony of this, really. Anyway, I just found out something I can really look forward to, despite it still being in the early project stage.

A few months back (so, more like last year) I stumbled upon a book by Mr. Ransom Riggs, titled Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children. Immediately I was drawn to the plot and the photos included. With such high expectations in mind, I was ultimately impressed. Now, for those of you who are frequent visitors of my blog here, you would know Mr. Tim Burton is one of my favourite directors - if not, my favourite. At the end of completing the book I couldn't help but think 'how amazing would it be, if Burton can change this into a movie?'

His style is just made for this book. It'll be the perfect combination. I didn't follow any other additional news related to Riggs, other than the fact a sequel has bene confirmed - until yesterday that is. I stumbled upon the book's Wikipedia page and only to see the news of Burton taking up the role of director after the movie rights were sold to 20th Century Fox. Can you believe how excited I am?

It's like Alice in Wonderland all over again. I am so excited!
